If your photos are partially black, try lowering the shutter speed (going from 1/500th to 1/125th, for example). A better solution is probably the Webcam Settings app, which you can grab for 7.99 in the Mac app store.It works fine on. Most cameras can’t use flash at shutter speeds higher than 1/200th of a second. Webcam Settings gives you more control over your FaceTime camera.
